A practical path through the FLX-STD workflow

Use this overview to understand the sequence before starting. Signed-in users can open the detailed, task-based User Manual from inside FLUISTIX.

1. Start or return to a project

Create a project or open an existing saved project. Confirm the project context before changing the HPU configuration.

2. Configure the open-loop HPU

Work through the system, pump train and component inputs. Use descriptions and project information that will remain clear during review.

3. Generate and inspect

Generate the schematic, inspect each sheet and use the workspace controls to review the visible system state.

4. Review calculations

Check pressure, flow, speed, duration, line-size and power values. FLUISTIX supports the review; it does not replace engineering verification.

5. Refine with Q-Drop and redline

Use Q-Drop for supported manual schematic additions and redline tools to communicate intended changes before output.

6. Save the project

Save intentionally and confirm the project state before leaving the workspace or continuing on another device.

7. Prepare DXF outputs

Review the output state and exported documentation before release. Final approval remains the responsibility of the engineer.
